This luxury room is part of a 1,5 year new student residence with 11 luxury rooms located in the heart of Kortrijk close to the station, the Grote Markt and the campuses of Howest (incl. DAE) and Ghent University.
The room is fully furnished and equipped with private sanitary facilities, WiFi, internet connection, energy-efficient underfloor heating, refrigerator, (vinyl) parquet floor, curtains and individual counters. It has a double window at the back, which overlooks the east side, the courtyard, and a large double window at the front, which overlooks the west side, the street side.
There is also a fully equipped communal kitchen, a bicycle shed and a courtyard.
For electricity, heating, water, and internet, we work with an advance payment of 85 € rather than a fixed fee. In the first rental year (Sep '24 - Aug '25), the average actual cost was 57 € (min. 38 €, max. 80 €) per month. The difference is settled annually. If the monthly cost is below 85 €, the difference will be refunded.
A major advantage is that the student house is managed in-house. As a result, it is not an anonymous organization with a large portfolio of buildings, but a place where personal management and direct follow-up are central.
